Pareto Alternative Investments AS (PAI) is an investment management company with a license from the Norwegian FSA to manage Alternative Investment Funds. PAI is part of the Pareto Group, which is a leading and independent operator of financial services in the Nordics.

PAI focuses on illiquid investments in real assets across industries including real estate, infrastructure, shipping, offshore /oil services and renewables. The primary investment target is to generate attractive returns through long-term and stable cash flows. The products offered by PAI comprise of either equity or debt investments.

PAI has 10 employees and manages NOK 13.1 billion in assets on behalf of Norwegian and international institutions, as well as private investors. The company has more than 10 years of experience with management of real assets and has an ambition to expand its product range to cover a broader set of investment strategies. Through collaboration with other subsidiaries in the Pareto Group, PAI has access to a wide range of in-house services and world class industry expertise.

PAI offers institutional and private investors investment products within its key sectors. The company currently manages 7 funds/mandates within real estate, shipping, offshore oil services and private debt. 

PAI has signed the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) and is in the process of establishing an ESG-policy for its activities and manadates to be approved by the Board of Directors. PAI aims to incorporate ESG issues into its investment analysis and decision-making processes across all mandates to secure the effective implementation of the Principles, as well as to transparently report the progress of such implementation to its investors and stakeholders. PAI is also a member of Norsif, the Norwegian forum for responsible and sustainable investments.

The Pareto Group
